Junior Staff Accountant

SUMMARY:

Reporting to the CFO, this position is responsible for corporate-wide accounting activities; planning and forecasting, billing and revenue collection, developing and maintaining financial statements and reports, and researching complex accounting issues. This position also plays an essential role in providing management with ad-hoc reporting and analysis.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process high volume full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Process weekly check runs, wire payments and inter company payments
• Preparation and processing of 1099's
• Prepare journal entries and accruals on a monthly basis
• Working closely with finance and cross-functional teams to assure the accuracy of payroll, billing and all corresponding journal entries.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
• Initiating collection calls, email, letters and faxes
• Research and resolve customer issues
• Process expense reports for employees.
• Prepare reports, provide analytical support and assist with special projects in order to provide management with necessary information and decision-making tools.
• Perform technical accounting research.
• Responding to inquiries from management and department head regarding expenses, budgets, etc.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or the equivalent experience plus three years of related experience
• The successful candidate should have excellent computer (Excel and Word) skills; exceptional problem solving abilities and good organizational skills.
• Experience with QuickBooks a plus
• Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be able to work independently

Junior Project Manager

SUMMARY:

Our Implementation and Training Department is growing with our new client volume, and we currently have an opening for a Full-Time Entry Level Project Manager to assist our new clients in implementing their Medfusion websites and secure patient portals. All client implementation and training is provided via internet and WebEx, email. This position is based out of our Raleigh location. No travel is required.

Minimum requirements are 1 year in a customer service oriented role. 2 year degree or 4 year degree a plus. Basic IT knowledge must include Windows environment, MS Office, Internet (IE or Fire Fox). Experience with IT support and/or healthcare related businesses are a plus. Salary & Benefits package will be commensurate with experience. Systems Administrator

SUMMARY:

The Systems Administrator is responsible for all stages of design, implementation, and maintenance of a high volume computer infrastructure.

PRINICPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSBILTIES:

• Responsible for computer hardware installation, network connectivity as well as providing user/desktop support to staff
• Monitor system back-ups, system restore and upgrades, remote connection issues, phone system support and managing printers.
• Strong problem solver.
• Ability to manage many simultaneous tasks and issues at once.
• Manage and choose hardware and software used by a hosted web based application provider

MINUMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Must have at least 4 year college degree
• Experience with Red Hat Linux Enterprise, Cisco PIX and Routers, Windows Administration a must
• Experience with Postgres, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Exchange 2003, Dell Switches, Microsoft Active Directory, RAID management, and J2EE application servers a plus
